The FFA Sophomore Block Officers
The sophomore block officer team is made up of nine sophomore Ag students plus the advisor, Ms. LaRose They are a junior officer team that conducts their own business and attends some meetings with the chapter officers. It is a unique set up because all of the sophomores meet for their Ag. classes at the same time so all 60 plus students can be together in the same place very easily. Once a month the sophomore block officers conduct a meeting during their Agriscience class period complete with official ceremonies. From there, the sophomore students split up into different groups to plan various events. The sophomore block is responsible for orchestrating and running the elementary open house that is held every May, as well as the freshman social, which is held in December.
