The Woodbury FFA Alumni
The Woodbury FFA has one of the largest alumni organizations in the country. It began in 1987 with a group of a few parents who wanted to help the Agriscience program. Since then, it has grown to over 200 dues paying members. Everyone is invited to attend the monthly meetings during the school year on the first Tuesday of the month. They are held at 7:00 PM in the Agriscience building. The role of the alumni is to provide assistance at our many events by providing volunteers and refreshments. The group is made up of parents of current Agriscience students, past graduates, and members of the community involved in the agriculture industry. The alumni holds a major fundraiser every year which is a hunter pace in November. A great deal of effort goes into this event by both alumni members and students. This money goes towards scholarships for graduating seniors in addition to helping the chapter pay for many miscellaneous expenses.
