Yes, I proudly wore the corduroy jacket as a member of the Ledyard Regional FFA Chapter in Ledyard, CT!!!!!!!! I remained an active member of the chapter from 2001-2006.

What has been your most memorable teaching experience?

I have lots of funny memories of different classes I've had, but probably any time that a student really "gets it" in terms of how the Ag program and the FFA are truly very cool experiences that not only help you but are lots of fun too!

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

Probably my parents, Liz and Joel LaRose. They truly impacted those skills of adapting to change and a can-do attitude, especially with my dad's career in the United States Navy.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

Pay off my students loans and car loan, and donate the rest to various charities.

What is the best part of being an Ag teacher?

Seeing kids get really excited about agriculture and then telling others about it and making it their own!

When I had a student graduate from the AG program that was a student of mine and she emailed me from college and told me how much she apperciate everything I tought her because she was so much more prepared for her college courses then the other students in her class.

Rescue animals and donate to leukemia/lymphona research?

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

Lisa Extance being a equine proficiency finalist, horse judging placing 12th in the nation and most importantly, that I am teaching children of students I taught and they thought enough about the program to send their children here.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

Bald Mountain Rusty, a chestnut morgan gelding that started it all. Also, my family and God.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

Pay off bills for me and my family, buy a hobby farm to have chickens, sheep and ponies! (and of course, more puppies!)
